MISSION STATEMENT
To become all things to all people, so that by all LOVEABLE and SPIRITUAL means we will save some.
This Ministry was officially incorporated in the year 2017 to carry on the life and work of Faith Lighthouse Church that has been in existences since May 17th, 1987.
Faith Lighthouse was Founded by Pastor Hezekiah Coke who later handed over to Pastor H. Stanford Francis at the time of his retirement. Prior to the change of administration, the board decided to incorporate a new entity in order to give the new admin the legal frame work required to continue with the work. This change further allows the Ministry to expand its scope of work, re-brand the ministry, and to mark a new beginning.
Faith Lighthouse Restoration Ministry Inc. Operates with two primary distinct roles
1. The Function of ADVENTIST and HEALTH MINISTRIES.
2. The Function of a Charitable Organization, Receiving and donating Food, Clothes, Household Items etc. since 1987.
2.
WE PROVIDES SERVICES TO ALL CITIZENS OF NORWALK; HOWEVER, OUR TARGET AREA IS SOUTH NORWALK.
There are 32,228 residents in South Norwalk, with a median age of 36.7. Of this, 52.26% are males and 47.74% are females. US-born citizens make up 59.08% of the resident pool in South Norwalk, while non-US-born citizens account for 20.01%. Additionally, 20.91% of the population is represented by non-citizens.
South Norwalk is considered to host the largest number of undocumented immigrants in Norwalk, this result in high unemployment leading the community to become one of (if not the most) vulnerable community of Norwalk.
With all our effort our network confirms a large group of families that are still waiting to obtain services from us, which we are unable to provide for currently due to financial restrictions.
3.
Prior to COVID-19 we had 40 contributing members to our programs and were serving 27 families per month, currently we are down to 8 contributing members and the demands has increased tremendously for our services, we are now serving 158 families on average per month through our network.
Increase in demands for Transportation, Technical support, Staffing, Storage, and other overhead expenses has restricted our ability to adequately accommodate the increasing demands for our services and the implementation of new programs and innovation
4.

We work closely with other faith base organizations which helps to promote our programs
6.
Based on information obtain, As of January 31st, 2024, our records shows that approximately 346 families with an average of 4 person per household in our community falls in the group of those most in need.
our findings are determine based on a family that have 75% of its members on above that are unemployed Per household.
We are currently serving an average of 158 families per month, impacting roughly 46% of the group in question leaving us searching for creative and sustainable ways to reach the other 64% that still waiting for help.
While this achievement is commendable, it is important to note that it was only through the partnership of other organizations, community involvement and the help of volunteers that it was possible.
We are grateful for the decline however we cannot rest now until we are able to adequately sustain what we accomplished and aim to erase the 64% outstanding families that are still having a hard time finding food and other basic supplies.
Another measurable outcome is clearly demonstrated by recipient's gratitude, testimonials and willingness to share the information with relatives and friends to the extent that we see an average of five (5) new faces on a weekly basis.
Also, in job placement, we assist an average of 2-3 people per month.
7.
We intend to continue with our annual fundraising events such as the hosting of the Norwalk Galilee Worship Annual Fundraising Gospel Show in June at Norwalk City Hall Concert, the Fall Health Expo in October, which is a vending event and the FLR MINISTRY Annual Fundraising Banquet in December.

We send notices to the churches and other organized groups and attended their meetings to inform their members and seek their support to spread the information and to help in seeking out and informing those who falls outside of social media services.
We implemented a program call {Each one reach one} every beneficiary received flyers and is encouraged to pass it onto their Nabours and share their experience.

One of the Ministry greatest assets resides in the diversity of the cultural, national, and ethnic origin of its membership.
Its varied races, nationalities, and cultures have the potential to offer enrichment to each other as well as to the mission of the MINISTRY.
They also bring the risk of misunderstandings and of possible injustice.
As a Ministry with a multi-cultural heritage, the principle of unity within diversity is strongly promoted.
This involves cherishing the differences among us while working toward a harmonious blending of the diversity in the total life of the MINISTRY.
One of our immediate plans is to start a bilingual class, teaching English and Spanish in the initial stage, and afterwards we include French. By so doing, we hope to improve communication within the community and involve more people from different culture in every aspect of our services.

We are Seventh Day Adventist Christians who believe we should make a positive difference in the world. Our Members base their beliefs and their mission on the direct teachings from the Holy Bible.
We are a people of hope who are committed to promoting the biblical message of quality of life for the present and the future.
In keeping with that principle, we believe the Bible teaches a weekly Sabbath day of rest and worship and the promise of Christ’s second coming or “Advent.” Each member therefore enjoy a 24-hour seventh day sabbath rest weekly from work and school to join family and fellow believers in worship, fellowship and communion with God the creator of all things," which includes us human".
Our members are real people with real life experiences of all sorts, many of us strongly believe that if God had not use someone in our pass to reach out to us, we would not be here today, therefore we are committed to return that and more of what we received to those who are in greater needs.
It is said "seek a friend before you need a friend".
Most of our contributions received will be used to create community awareness in areas of basic healthy environmental practices and healthy lifestyles with special regards to Orphans, poor and the Homeless who are often times left behind especially in areas of health and spiritual developments
We trust that you will see the need to partner with us as we fight now together with helping hands and determine hearts to make this world a better place for us and our children and grand children.

Get healing, find answers and peace as you begin to understand God’s plan for your life.
Yes, these steps look easy. Easy enough to set aside for “later.” Easy enough to think that maybe they're not so important, or not so special, but that would be a mistake.
The Bible tells the story of Naaman, the commander of the Syrian army.
He contracted leprosy which was incurable and terminal. One of his slaves, an Israelite, suggested that he go to Samaria, where the prophet Elisha would be able to heal him. Elisha told Naaman to go wash himself in the river Jordan, and to immerse himself seven times if he wanted to be healed. Naaman was insulted. That river was muddy and it was unacceptable for a high official to bath in it.
Yes, the instructions to dunk himself in the Jordan were simple, but what did he have to lose?
He was about to leave in a rage when one of his soldiers pointed out that if Elisha had asked him to do something great and difficult, he would have followed instructions without question. Yes, the instructions to dunk himself in the Jordan were simple, but what did he have to lose? Naaman accepted the counsel, followed Elisha's instructions and was healed. (2 Kings 5:1-15) Just like Naaman, you are free to choose your course of action. You can continue struggling with your troubles, drifting through life without meaning or purpose, and missing out on a journey that will bring you eternal life. Or, you can follow the simple steps on this page. The choice is yours.
